During the First World War, a brass knuckle knife i.e. trench knife was approved as a primary fighting weapon.
The soldiers took these knives with them in the trenches to easily get rid of the enemies. It became the crucial fighting weapon and even replaced the real swords. It was the primary weapon of the soldiers from the First World War to the Second World War.
· Secondary Fighting Knife
The trench knife was not used as a primary weapon in the Second World War. Though it was still used by the soldiers as a secondary weapon.
It took place as a backup weapon so that they have a weapon to fight if they lost their primary fighting weapons.
After World War II, a brass knuckle knife started gaining fame among the civilians as well. It became a knife to be used all over the world for various purposes.
Modern Brass Knuckle Knives:
· Self Defense Knife
The initial knuckle knife was a fighting knife, but the modern one is a multipurpose knife. Today, this knife can be used in many ways, such as self-defense. People used this knife to deal with the attackers.
Nowadays, it is very crucial to protect yourself against the attackers. A knuckle knife is a great tool for self-defense needs. As it is made up of two weapons, you can use a knuckle duster to punch the attacker and then use the blade to injure him.
